The Worcester Bosch secondary heat exchanger double baffle is suitable for Greenstar oil boilers. Baffle plates control the circulation of air travelling into an appliance, resulting in a more efficient mixing of gases and better combustion.

This part is located within the heat exchanger section. There are two different kinds of heat exchanger that can be present, the primary heat exchanger and the secondary heat exchanger. The primary is present in almost all Boilers and it transfers the heat from the burner to the water within the system. The secondary heat exchanger only appears on combination boilers and allows the heat to be transferred between 2 closed systems.
