The MDPE Pipe Liner (20mm), also known as a pipe insert or stiffener, is an indispensable component for the secure installation of Blue or Black MDPE (Medium Density Polyethylene) pipe. It is inserted into the end of the 20mm pipe to provide critical internal support, ensuring the pipe remains perfectly circular and structurally sound when the compression fitting is tightened.

Key Features and Installation Details
Compliance: Fully WRAS Approved, certifying that the material is safe for permanent contact with potable (drinking) water supplies.

Material: Manufactured from high-grade, corrosion-resistant Plastic (Polymer) or Stainless Steel, specifically engineered to withstand the clamping forces of mechanical compression fittings.

Size: Precision-fit for 20mm MDPE pipe (standard SDR11).

Installation Method: Push-Fit – The liner is pushed into the cut, deburred end of the 20mm pipe until the flange sits flush against the pipe edge. The pipe is then ready to be inserted into the MDPE compression fitting.
