The MDPE Coupler (25mm), also known as a straight connector, is a high-integrity compression fitting used to join two lengths of 25mm Blue or Black MDPE (Medium Density Polyethylene) pipe. It is the standard solution for extending pipe runs, repairing damaged sections of underground water mains, or connecting a new service line to an existing supply.

Compliance: Fully WRAS Approved, certifying that the fitting is safe for use with potable (drinking) water and meets all UK water regulation standards.

Material: Manufactured from robust, high-grade Polypropylene, providing excellent resistance to high pressure, impact, and the corrosive elements found in various soil types.

Configuration: Straight Coupler – Features two identical 25mm compression ports:

Port 1 & 2: Both ports are designed to receive 25mm MDPE pipe. The fitting utilizes a high-quality O-ring to create a watertight seal and a split grab-ring to prevent pipe pull-out.

Pressure Rating: Engineered for a working pressure of up to 16 bar, ensuring reliability in high-pressure domestic and commercial water mains.

Installation Method: Mechanical Compression – No heat or soldering is required. The joint is assembled by sliding the pipe into the fitting and tightening the nut, which compresses the internal seals around the pipe.
