Overview

End Feed Radius Street Elbow 90 C X C - 22Mm

The 22mm End Feed 90° Radius Street Elbow is a compact copper capillary fitting designed for making sharp 90-degree turns in restricted spaces. It is distinguished by having one Female Socket and one Male Spigot (the "Street" end).

Because the male end is the same diameter as a 22mm pipe, it slots directly into another fitting without needing a separate piece of copper pipe in between. This makes it an essential "space-saver" for boiler installations and manifold headers.

Key Features and Specifications

Size: 22mm Socket to 22mm Male Spigot.

Angle: 90° Short Radius.

Material: High-grade copper to BS EN 1254-1.

Joint Type: End Feed (requires lead-free solder and flux).

Application: Suitable for hot and cold water, central heating, and gas services.

Durability: Provides a permanent, heat-resistant, and vibration-proof joint once soldered.

Common Applications

Boiler Cupboards: Used where pipework must turn 90 degrees immediately upon exiting a valve or another fitting.

Manifold Construction: Allows for tight branching of 22mm heating zones.

Underfloor Heating: Navigating pipework through narrow joist notches or floor voids.

Retrofits: Ideal for repairing existing pipework where there is insufficient room for a standard double-female elbow.

Essential Companion Products

Professional Lead-Free Solder Wire

Soldering Flux (Active or Non-Acidic)

Abrasive Cleaning Strips and Pipe Deburrer

Heat Shield or Soldering Mat

Specialist Support and Local Collection

Street elbows are the professional's choice for keeping pipework neat and "square" in tight corners. We stock these in 15mm, 22mm, and 28mm for immediate trade collection.
