Overview

FRONT INLET/OUTLET SPX FLOW

The Original Tiger Loop T110I is an automatic oil de-aerator specifically designed for external installation. It is a critical component for oil-fired heating systems, allowing for a single-pipe installation between the tank and the burner, which significantly reduces the risk of leaks and system complications.

By removing gas and air bubbles from the heating oil, the Tiger Loop ensures a cleaner burn, protects the oil pump, and prevents nozzle "coking"—a leading cause of burner failure.

Key Technical Specifications

Model: T110I (External Version).

Connection Size: 1/4" BSP (Female) for both Pump and Tank connections.

Max Nozzle Capacity: 110 Litres per Hour (L/h).

Max Oil Flow: 230 L/h.

De-aerating Capacity: Up to 8 L/h.

Operating Pressure: +0.5 bar to -0.6 bar.

Operating Temperature: Max 60°C.

Fuel Compatibility: Heating Oil / Kerosene / Gas Oil.

Why the T110I is Essential

External Only: This model is strictly for outdoor mounting. It vents small amounts of gas into the atmosphere during the de-aeration process, which could create health or explosion hazards if installed in a confined indoor space.

Single-Pipe Benefit: It converts a traditional two-pipe system into a one-pipe system. This means only the amount of oil actually burned is drawn from the tank, reducing the transport of sludge and dirt.

Pre-Heating: As the oil circulates through the pump and back into the Tiger Loop, it is slightly warmed by friction. This pre-heated oil burns more efficiently, especially in cold winter conditions.

Suction Lift: Enables the burner to draw fuel from tanks located at a lower level or up to 30 meters away (when used with 10mm fuel lines).

Installation Best Practices

Mounting: Install the unit vertically on the outside wall of the property using the supplied bracket. It should be positioned between the oil tank and the burner.

Filter Requirement: The T110I should be used in conjunction with a separate high-quality oil filter to ensure the longevity of the de-aerator and the burner nozzle.

Flexi-Pipes: Ensure you use high-quality braided flexible oil lines for the connections to the burner pump to accommodate vibration and thermal movement.

Specialist Support and Local Collection
