The 150m x 16mm PERT-AL-PERT Coil is a premium multilayer composite pipe designed for medium-to-large underfloor heating zones. This specific length is highly popular as it comfortably covers a large open-plan area or two smaller rooms while minimizing the waste often left over from shorter 100m coils.

The Al-Pert construction features an internal aluminum layer that provides a 100% oxygen barrier and ensures the pipe holds its shape once bent, making it significantly easier to install than standard PEX.

Coverage Guide (Approximate)

A 150m coil provides generous coverage depending on your pipe spacing:

200mm Centers (Standard): Covers approximately 30m².

150mm Centers (High Heat Loss): Covers approximately 22m².

Note: Always account for the "tails" running from the floor area back to the manifold location.

Installation Best Practices

Calibration: Because of the aluminum layer, you must use a 16mm Calibration Tool after cutting. This re-rounds the pipe and chamfers the internal edge to protect the O-rings in your fittings.

Loop Length: While this is a 150m coil, it is generally recommended to split it into two loops (e.g., 75m each) on your 6-Port Manifold if the room is large. This prevents excessive pressure drop and ensures even heat.

Decoiler: A 150m coil is relatively heavy; using a pipe decoiler will prevent the pipe from twisting as it is unrolled.
