The Polypipe 12-Port Stainless Steel Manifold (Product Code: UFH12762EC) is the largest standard distribution unit in the Polypipe range. It is designed to manage up to 12 separate heating circuits, making it suitable for large open-plan areas or entire floor levels in residential and commercial properties.

Constructed from premium stainless steel, this manifold is specifically designed for use with 15mm or 12mm pipe (the latter often used in Overlay™ systems).

Key Technical Features

Auto-Balancing Technology: Many modern Polypipe stainless steel manifolds feature patented valve technology that enables automatic flow control, ensuring each circuit operates at the correct flow rate regardless of other zones opening or closing.

Integrated Flow Meters: Features high-visibility flow meters on the flow bar for precise manual balancing and system diagnostics.

Connections:

Main Inlets: 1" BSP (Requires separate Isolation Valves).

Loop Outlets: 3/4" Eurocone (EK) threads for easy connection via Eurocone Adaptors.

Construction: High-quality stainless steel (grade 1.4301) for maximum corrosion resistance and longevity.

Pre-Assembled: Supplied on a robust wall-mounting bracket with vibration-isolated clamps.

System Sizing & Pipe Compatibility

15mm Pipe: Ideal for standard screed or joisted systems using the Polypipe 15mm x 100m Barrier Pipe.

12mm Pipe: Compatible with Polypipe Overlay™ and Overlay™ Lite systems.

Note: When using 12mm pipe, you must use the 15mm x 12mm adaptor sets.

Maximum Loops: With 12 ports, this manifold can handle a significant amount of pipework (up to ~1200m total), usually requiring a high-output pump set to maintain pressure across the furthest loops.

Installation Best Practices

Mounting Height: Ensure a minimum clearance of 300mm from the floor to the bottom manifold bar to allow enough room for the pipework to curve into the ports without kinking.

Circuit Identification: The manifold is supplied with self-adhesive stickers. Use these to label each port immediately (e.g., "Kitchen 1," "Hallway") to simplify the final balancing and commissioning process.

Isolation: Unlike the Keyplumb manifolds, Polypipe isolation valves are typically supplied separately. Ensure you have a pair of 1" Isolation Valves for the flow and return ends.
