SKU:ZL-117507
Overview
Keyplumb Ufh 7 Port Manifold
The Keyplumb 7-Port UFH Manifold is a professional-grade distribution unit designed for larger residential or commercial underfloor heating projects. Constructed from high-quality stainless steel, this manifold allows you to independently control and balance up to seven separate heating loops from a single location.
Key Technical Features
Integrated Flow Meters: Each of the 7 ports on the flow bar features an adjustable meter (0.5 – 5.0 L/min), allowing for precise balancing of loops to ensure even heat across different-sized rooms.
Return Valves: The return bar is equipped with manual shut-off caps that are fully compatible with standard electrical thermal actuators for smart, multi-zone control.
Material: Corrosion-resistant stainless steel with EPDM O-ring gaskets for long-term durability.
Connections:
Manifold Inlet: 1" BSP Male/Female (compatible with standard mixing valves).
Loop Outlets: 3/4" Eurocone (EK) thread.
Standard Inclusions: Pre-mounted on sound-dampening wall brackets, including manual air vents and drain/fill points.
System Sizing & Coverage
A 7-port manifold is typically used for a total floor area of 70m² to 105m². It is the ideal size for a large ground-floor extension or a full apartment layout.
Maximum Pipe Length: It is best practice to keep each of the 7 loops under 100m–110m to avoid excessive pressure drop.
Water Volume: Requires a robust pump, such as the Grundfos UPM3 Flex 25-70, to maintain flow across all seven circuits simultaneously.
Installation Tips
Flushing the System: Use the integrated drain and fill valves to flush each loop one-by-one with water before connecting the boiler. This removes any debris or air pockets that could cause "cold spots."
Balancing: Start with all flow meters fully open. Once the system is running, throttle back the meters on the shortest loops to force more hot water toward the longest loops.
Space Requirements: Account for the width of the 1" Isolation Valves and the Mixing Valve when choosing your manifold mounting location.
Essential Companion Products
Connectors: Keyplumb 16mm Eurocone Adaptors (You will need 14 adaptors for a 7-port manifold).
Pipework: 16mm PERT-AL-PERT Coil.
Isolation: Keyplumb UFH Isolation Valve Pair.
Pump Set: Grundfos UPM3 Flex 25-70 130 Pump paired with the 1" Mixing Valve.
