Overview

Keyplumb Ufh 6 Port Manifold

The Keyplumb 6-Port UFH Manifold is a high-grade stainless steel distribution center designed to manage up to six individual heating loops. It is the core of an underfloor heating system, allowing for precise control and balancing of water flow to different rooms or zones.

Part Number: 11630 (Note: Variants from 2 to 12 ports are available).

Material: Premium Stainless Steel.

Configuration: Includes a flow bar with integrated flow meters and a return bar with manual valves (compatible with thermal actuators).

Key Technical Features

Flow Meters: Adjustable visual flow meters (0.5 – 5.0 L/min) allow you to balance each of the 6 loops individually, ensuring even heat distribution regardless of loop length.

Connections:

Inlets/Outlets: 1" BSP female connections for the Mixing Valve and Isolation Valves.

Loop Ports: 3/4" Eurocone (EK) thread, designed for use with 16mm Eurocone Adaptors.

Pre-Assembled: Supplied on a sturdy wall-mounting bracket with vibration-dampening inserts.

Air Management: Includes manual air vents and drain/fill valves on both the flow and return arms for easy commissioning and flushing.

Project Coverage Guide

A 6-port manifold is typically suitable for a total floor area of 60m² to 90m² (assuming roughly 10-15m² per loop). It is perfectly paired with:

Pipe: Up to 600m of 16mm PERT-AL-PERT Pipe.

Pump: Grundfos UPM3 Flex 25-70 130.

Installation Tips

Mounting: Ensure the manifold is mounted high enough to allow for the pipework to bend comfortably into the floor (usually a minimum of 600mm from the floor to the bottom bar).

Actuators: If you want independent room-by-room control, replace the manual blue caps on the return bar with Thermal Actuators wired to a central wiring center.

Labelling: Always label each loop on the manifold (e.g., "Kitchen," "Lounge 1," "Lounge 2") as you install them to make balancing and future maintenance significantly easier.
