The Keyplumb 200m x 16mm PERT-AL-PERT Coil (Part Number: S-11422) is a high-performance multilayer composite pipe designed for larger underfloor heating (UFH) projects. This 200-meter length is double the standard coil size, allowing you to run multiple loops or a single very long loop (though industry standards recommend keeping individual loops under 100-110m to avoid pressure drops).

The PERT-AL-PERT construction features an internal aluminum core that provides a 100% oxygen barrier and, crucially, ensures the pipe holds its shape when bent—eliminating the "spring-back" common with standard plastic pipes.

Coverage Guide (Approximate)

A 200m coil provides significant coverage depending on your pipe spacing:

200mm Spacing (Standard): Covers approximately 40m².

150mm Spacing (High Heat Loss): Covers approximately 30m².

100mm Spacing (Maximum Output): Covers approximately 20m².

Note: Always allow extra for the "tails" running back to the manifold.

Installation Best Practices

Manifold Planning: For a 200m coil, it is best practice to cut it into two 100m loops. Running a single 200m loop is not recommended as it can lead to uneven heating and strain on the Grundfos UPM3 pump.

Calibration: You must use a 16mm Calibration Tool. Because of the aluminum layer, the pipe must be re-rounded and chamfered after cutting to protect the O-rings on your Eurocone connectors.

Decoiler Use: A 200m coil is heavy (approx. 20-22kg). Using a pipe decoiler is highly recommended to prevent twists and tangles during installation.
