The 15mm Solder Ring Stop End (often referred to as a "Yorkshire" blanking cap) is a pre-soldered capillary fitting designed to provide a permanent, leak-proof seal at the end of a 15mm copper pipe run. This fitting is an essential component for decommissioning sections of a system, capping off dead-legs to prevent bacterial growth (like Legionella), or sealing pipework during building renovations.

Each fitting contains an integral ring of lead-free solder. When heated with a blowlamp, the solder flows automatically around the pipe, creating a high-strength chemical bond that is far more compact and aesthetically pleasing than a mechanical compression cap.
