Overview

Talon 15/19Mm Rubber Lined Clips 10 Pack

The Talon 15/19mm Rubber Lined Clip is a high-specification fixing designed for installations where noise reduction and vibration damping are critical. Combining a robust metallic body with a specialized rubber insert, these clips provide a "floating" support system that prevents mechanical noise from being transmitted into the building's structure. They are the preferred choice for high-end domestic projects, commercial plant rooms, and any system involving pumps or high-velocity water flow.

Key Features and Specifications
Acoustic Vibration Damping: The integrated EPDM rubber lining isolates the pipe from the clip, significantly reducing "pipe hum" and the transmission of water hammer noise through walls.

Versatile Sizing: Engineered to fit pipes with an outside diameter (OD) between 15mm and 19mm. This makes them perfectly suited for standard 15mm copper, 15mm PEX/Polybutylene, and 16mm multilayer (MLCP) pipework.

Thermal Expansion Management: The rubber lining allows the pipe to expand and contract smoothly, reducing the risk of creaking noises and stress on joints during heating cycles.

Corrosion Resistance: Constructed from high-quality zinc-plated steel, offering excellent durability and protection against moisture in utility rooms or damp environments.

Secure Mounting: Features a dual-tapped head (usually M8/M10), allowing the clip to be mounted directly to a wall via a backplate or suspended from a ceiling using a threaded rod.

Quantity: Supplied in a Pack of 10, ideal for specialized runs or upgrading critical sections of a heating system.

The Installer's Advantage
Talon Rubber Lined Clips elevate the standard of a plumbing installation. For the professional, these clips solve the common problem of customer complaints regarding noisy pipes. Because the metal clip does not make direct contact with the pipe, they also prevent electrolytic corrosion between dissimilar metals. The twin-screw locking system provides a much stronger mechanical fix than plastic clips, making them ideal for vertical risers where the pipe's weight must be strictly managed.

Essential Companion Products
To achieve a professional, quiet, and secure installation, the following components are recommended:

Standard Alternative: For general domestic runs where acoustic damping isn't required, use the Talon 15mm Single Hinged Pipe Clip.

Masonry Fixings: For a robust fix into brick or concrete, pair with Talon Red Wall Plugs.
