Hawk White is the industry-standard, non-setting jointing compound designed for professional use in domestic and commercial plumbing and heating systems. This 200g tin provides a compact, high-quality sealant solution that acts as both a lubricant and a gap-filler for threaded connections, ensuring a permanent, leak-proof seal for water, natural gas, and low-pressure steam applications.

Key Features and Application
Compliance: Fully BS 6920 and WRAS Approved, making it completely safe for use with potable (drinking) water. It also meets EN 751-2 standards for gas applications.

Non-Setting Formula: Unlike hard-setting pastes, Hawk White remains flexible. This allows for the easy dismantling of joints even years after installation without damaging the threads or the pipework.

Versatility: Suitable for use on metallic threaded fittings (copper, brass, and steel). It is the preferred choice for sealing radiator tails and threaded valves in central heating systems.

Temperature & Pressure: Engineered to withstand temperatures up to 200°C and high system pressures, making it ideal for central heating manifolds and boiler connections.

Usage: Typically applied to the male thread of a fitting. For larger threads or reinforced seals, it can be used in conjunction with plumbing hemp.
