Technical Tip: If your boiler pressure is constantly rising even when the filling loop is "closed," this valve may be passing (leaking) internally. Conversely, if you cannot increase the pressure when the valve is opened, the internal mechanism may be seized or blocked with limescale.

Maintenance and Installation Advice
Replacing this valve requires the mains water to be isolated and the boiler's internal pressure to be drained. It is secured into the hydraulic block with a retaining clip and sealed with an O-ring. Always check the condition of the flexible silver filling hose while replacing the valve to ensure there are no kinks or splits.
