In Riello burners, the solenoid coil is commonly used in conjunction with the fuel pump and the oil safety valve. When the burner is operating, the solenoid coil receives an electrical signal to open, allowing fuel to flow from the fuel pump to the burner's nozzle or atomization device. When the burner is turned off or there's a safety shutdown, the solenoid coil receives a signal to close, preventing the fuel flow and shutting down the burner.
